ok so..i was coming home from St.Louis and at the autoparts/junkyard place i saw this 3000gt just sitting there..at first i thought it was a SL or base model but then i noticed the vr-4 badge..i really didn't get a good look at it..but from what i saw the back midpiece of the tail light has a little chunk missing a possibly the hood is bent or something, other then that..i might buy it and just fix it up..and i was just wondering if someone was selling an engine for the vr-4 if it doesn't have one. ( i haven't stopped by to look at it yet. ) If so how much do they usually run and where could i get one..ebay has 0 so ..bleh..hit me up.

I would suggest looking at the vehicle since you haven't, and don't even know if a car has an engine or not.

Try www.3si.org/forum and look for things forsale there.
Right now the site is down...so you may have to wait a day or two till you can get on there.

Has a VR4 shortblock for $3,099.00 However, I believe you will need to purchase turbos seperately.
Which shouldn't be much of a problem. You can get cheap stock used turbos from someone who is upgrading on 3si.org, or you could get entirely new larger turbos at one of the websites listed in the FAQ

igovert, thats just the short block which includes the pistons, rods, crankshaft, and block, it does not include the heads, cams, or anything else.
Like he said above, i'd go look at the car first and see if it already has an engine, if it does, either it runs or get it rebuilt, or search for a used engine.
