Well, over the weekend me and my buddy were going to go up to harry's you pull it ( a big ass junk yard ) to see if they had any stealths in there. Well, i was doing 90 along the highway, ( you all know how it is ) and somehow i end up getting these group of cars following me. Like.. it was just people starting to follow me, and like, i go into the passing lane... then 5 cars come over into the passing lane, i get out of the passing lane, they all get out of the passing lane. Rather funny if you ask me. But within those cars there was a porche 911. So I was like.. hmm i hope he starts tryes to pass all of us so I can give him a run for his money. But yeah.. i was doing the lane in and out shit and then finally, my exit... so i was like well whatever screw the porsche.. and then right as im getting onto the off ramp.. there he goes.. flooring it... passing everyone. It kinda made me mad.. because I wanted to see if i would be able to keep up with him.

Dude that sucks...you should've stay'd on the highway. You could have always turned off somewhere else lol.

What year of 911 was it?

I wasnt exactly sure.. but it looked newer.. but the weird thing is.. i dont think it was a turbo.. but i dont know if they only make turbo's or wherever because i didnt hear the turbo's running in it. And trust me I would have stayed on the highway and raced with him but.. i havent really been out that way before

Awwwww, that sucks, I agree you should have stayed on :iceslolan. Does anyone know how to tell the different 911/carreras apart?

Edit: Ohh and how did the stealth search/salvage go?

don't know about the new (997) 911's but the previous 911's (996) came in three basic flavours. carrera 2 (rwd), carrera 4 (4wd) and turbo. the turbo was the basis for the gt2. not sure which car the gt3 is based upon, but it's not a turbo. the turbo charged cars have large air intakes over the rear wheel arches.

That sucks, taking down a porsche is always a fun thing to do...yesterday I actually saw a bunch of em. There was some porsche team or something, as my girlfriend and I were on the highway, we got passed by a few trucks, each hauling a porsche on a trailer...the last one was a gt4. You don't know how much I was wishing it was driving rather than that truck.

porsche have never made a gt4, at least not one i can find any reference to.

here's the list of
current (http://content2.eu.porsche.com/prod/911/911_main.nsf/gbrenglish/911) 911's for sale.

the only reference to gt4 and porsche i can find would seem to be an fia race category they compete in.

sure it wasn't a gt3 or gt2?

The stealth salvage search was actually really bad. I only found one stealth, and here is was a 94 stealth, perfect hood which wont fit onto my 91. And.. thats actually the only things left of the stealth that was useful. LOL! It was ripped apart, there were no doors, no engine, well actually nothing in the engine area, no hatchback, no seats, no front dash, no middle concole.. no rear bumper, the front bumber was laying on the ground, and so it was just like a stealth sitting there with nothing left for it to be squashed. *prays for the stealth's death*

(Never really thought of looking for a 3000 gt while i was up there.. hm)

Get the hood...sell it on ebay...and if you need a hood, check ebay, I was on there last night and saw a few stock hoods.
