HID H4 DR2 (Shielded) and Projectors.....

Hey Guys,

I have a 1999 Honda Civic SI and I just bought an HID kit for my car. It's still in the mail, however, i believe that the bulbs are the D2R style with the anti-glare shield, which is used for the reflection headlamp assembly (Stock). I wanted to get the projection JDM headlights to get that beam/line light output with the HID system, like the Honda S2000.....my parents used to have that!!!

My question is....can i use the Shielded DR2 bulbs, that are used for reflection headlamps, and put them in the projection housing and still get that fine beam light output??? Or will the stupid bulb shield mess that up? I dont want to buy the projection housing if its not going to do me any good or be the way i want it....If anyone knows, please reply.
