99cobra

I'm thinking I have enought money now to get this cobra.

with the aftercooler, do you guys think it would be a good idea?

Just keep it farely low on boost. The 99/01 Cobras dont have all the internal goodies that the 03/04's do. Sounds kick ass.

How much do you think is safe?

Keep the boost at about 8-9 pounds and you should be fine. Powdered metal rods are not as weak as people think, you should be okay up to about 500hp. As long as you're not stepping on it every chance you get, you should be fine. Also, it's better to go rich and sacrifice some horsepower than to go lean and start burning things. I would keep my a.f. ratio at about 12:1 with a blown Cobra.

yeah, the 99 cobras are sweet. as stated i believe 8 pounds is fine. when you get the car post some pics for us.

Damn, I envy you. I test drove on of them and well...DAMN lol. They can move, if I had enough money I would have bought the one I test drove right then and there. Let us know if you do end up gettin it

i dont know if you mean me since i own one at the moment, but i think the SN95 looks better. i may get a fox so i wont be in debt. your car is great, just get some gears and an x pipe and go LS1 hunting.
