Anyone ever fitted a back box to a 205 without taking it to a garage.
I just bought a Savage 4.5" back box for mine and was wondering if it was wise to try and fit it my self. I had a look under the car and it looks quite easy, just a couple of bolts.

Yep thats all it is. You don't even have to jack the car up, I did take the wheel off though!

Thats clever. taking the wheel off without jacking the car up. you must be strong.

Ha, you know what I mean though... Didn't jack it up on axle stands or anything clever like that. Purely used the standard peugeot jack, whipped the wheel off and removed the back box.... the nuts are always bloody seized though so a good heavy oil first wouldn't go a miss.
