Have a 86 rx-7 with fuel issues, no injection pulse. So far have changed the ecm, have good spark just zero fuel, seems like the injectors are making noise but not moving fuel, any ideas?
Fuses checked and double checked, both under the hood and inside car.
does the pulse generate from the so called distributor, i do realise that it does not mean the same on a rotary but for simpletons like myself it gets the point across.
Should there be a gap setting between the poles inside the distributor.
Any comments are greatly appreciated.
I will be checking the board on and off all week or u can email me at [email protected]

Did you hook a noide light to the injector harness or are you just listening to see if you can hear the injectors pulse, by this I mean the primary injectors.
Have you checked fuel pressure and if so what was the pressure?
I assume what you're calling a distributor is the crank angle sensor it does not pulse the injectors the ecm sends a ground to the injectors to pulse like other efi engines. However you may have a distributor and I'm not sure how they are ran on these engines so I'll let someone else that has experiance with distributed rotarys help you there.
Oh one other thing does the fuel pump make a noise when you turn the key on ?

I couldnt tell you what the problem is, but I have a close friend thats got an '86 RX-7 and bought it almost brand new in '87. The problem you are facing is literally identical to the one he faced, and in the end...after futile searches, he finally just had to replace the fuel injectors, which costed I think over 1600 bucks. It was expensive, but the Mazda mechanic that did the replacement for him said when RX-7 fuel injectors begin to mess up you can never really fix them back to their normal stage and th best thing to do is replace them completely. My friends car now drives perfect, and he had the replacement in '95. Hopefully youll have much better luck with your car...but I didnt think it would hurt to tell you this little story.
Good luck
