FIRST OF ALL CAN I SAY HELLO TO EVERYONE HERE....HELLO.
Now thats out of the way i would just like to tell you what project i am working on at the minute and look for any advice or instructions from any of you.
This is my first big project and i intend to spend at least 50 hours making this. The car is a 66 beetle, made by Tamiya.
My plans are far from simple and could even be said to be ambitious but i will tell you any way;
-Rear light conversion from full light package to three "spot lights"
-Ferrari Enzo Wheels 20 inch on the back and 18's on the front
-Lambo doors, or even suicide doors, depending on the level of difficulty
-Sparco Corsa Bucket Seats, with four point photo etched harnesses,
-A cage of some kind
-removed rear seats to make an entertainment install including tv's, speakers, amps, nos, power caps and neon lights
-GT Wing x2
-custom scratchbuilt triple angled exhausts
-and a two tone silver paint job with royal blue viper stripes
does any one have any tips on creating any of these, or have any advice on what not to try. i will upload some pics as soon as it is worth taking some.
any help will be greatly appreciated

It sounds like a very interesting project, but i would say that a wing will not add anything to the overall design. I think that it would just look lke it is there for the sake of it because people seem to think that sticking a wing on something makes it look better. WRONG!!

-GT Wing x2
Does that make it twice as wrong?

Also without major modifications to the fenders you will not be able to tuck the ENZO super wide rears or fronts.. On the real car they are something to the effect of 20X15 which is HUGE. You would have to open up the fenders and create very big flares to accomodated that kind of rubber.

First: Welcome on AF
Second: About your project,
You want to do too many things on your Beetle IMO. I know it's a question of taste, but I think it will look 'overloaded'. But, hey, it's your model, do what you want to it.
I've put a comment next to each modification.
-Rear light conversion from full light package to three "spot lights". Can be done easily but I have no real idea of what it will look, picture ?
-Ferrari Enzo Wheels 20 inch on the back and 18's on the front. As Slk320 said, it will be difficult to set those wheels under the fenders, the biggest wheels I've tried are Aoshima 19's.
-Lambo doors, or even suicide doors, depending on the level of difficulty. Suicide doors will be easy to do, just reverse the hinges
-Sparco Corsa Bucket Seats, with four point photo etched harnesses. OK
-A cage of some kind OK
-removed rear seats to make an entertainment install including tv's, speakers, amps, nos, power caps and neon lights Don't forget that the beetle has a rear engine, the battery is under the rear seat (not in the kit) so, you won't have a lot of room to do a major ICE.
-GT Wing x2 BIg No, NO :nono:
-custom scratchbuilt triple angled exhausts Triple angled ? :eek7: It's a flat4 engine, don't know what you mean
-and a two tone silver paint job with royal blue viper stripes Ok if you like it (cf: question of taste)
Maybe, show us a few 'in progress' pictures, so we can comment on and give you good advice.
