does a 92 Sentra "GA16DE" have a govenor on it? And if so what is the max speed, and how can i take it off....

On the b14's ('95 - '97) it's 109mph, yours is similar.
You can get your ecu upgraded by JWT, which increases power, raises the rev limiter, & removes the governor. It's around $600 though.

So will this ecu make my car's top speed faster? say my car tops out at 109 will it make it get up to about 120 at least?

with a ga16? I doubt you'll be able to hit 120 without quite a few mods, especially if you have an auto

I woul like to add that my 93 sentra 5-speed tops out around 130 mph with the rev-limiter still intact in the original computer.

ha ha ha.......the pilot has gotten his stock sentra gxe with the 1.6 litre auto tranny up to 115......

ive found disconnecting the speed sensor can solve that problem, but ive only done this on 240's. might work the same for your sittuation
