BEWARE!! Only KIA dealers can make spare keys (according to the Woodbridge, Va dealer) and they charge an outrageous $10.00 per key.

also the dealer i am a tech for charges a big 2.50 for them. sounds like you havae a crappy dealer.

Try getting the new key for a Jeep. The local dealership charges $40 ea.

You might also look at older V.W. keys .
Dealers want $20 to duplicate a 1974 Van key.

With more and more cars going to computor controlled keys the only way the price is going is up.

Guess we might as well get used to it.
