Difficulty Starting

My Jeep has recently been having these moments where it acts like it wants to cut off! This only happens once in a while & 1st happened after I installed my glow guages! When I turn the engine the car starts, but then feels & sounds like it wants to cut off, & sometimes it does! Does this sound like a battery issue? I'm still using the original battery which is 6yrs old (I know this is a long time to be using the same battery). The car also acts like this after using the extra outlet next to the cigarette lighter (I forget what it's called).

well check to make sure that the Battery Post and Cable Terminals are clean and tight.
