We're not saying it looks bad, we were merely pointing out that, proportionally, they're flat. I didn't say that the perspective was bad, the angles were bad, the lines were bad, the elipses were bad. I said nothing about it being bad, so obviously you assumed that I thought they were bad and was disgusted with the drawings. Because, honestly, i think they are really good. But, unfortunatly, you thought you could think for me, and thought you could put words in my mouth, that I thought they were bad. in fact, there is very little wrong with them. Trust, I know a bad car, even for a beginner. So please, I ask you to merely think things through before you, A) assume and B) Try to put words in them mouth of someone who has had an extremely bad day, and is in no mood to be told what they have said.

and mina97 do not hide your works, show them to us.
may be we are a critics but we do that to point out your mistakes and recomend how to fix them.
So just draw and whene you run out of ideas it is time to go out look around hang out with the friends. thrust me only way for me to get inspration is to go and do something else then draw.
For example every day i come from work i take the same stretcar and go by the same yellow Diablo witch is parked at one preformance shop.
Every time i see it it is just geting me pumpt up.

What do you mean, I kinda spazzed, I know, but hell, it was the worst of all days. I was sick, I had my 4 most hated subjects in school, and I was, again, in no mood to discuss what I had said.

Pretty good. They look flat because the windshield isn't vertical enough and streches too far back. Keep up the good work though

Hi Mina97,
Ok I won't touch on perspective anymore, I think that is covered. :)
Your work looks good esp. for drawing from your head. You asked for advice, so I will give some. :)
I personally would not focus on designing cars right now. If I where you I would study real cars and render those. You need the basics down first like drawing ellipses. Ellipses Ellipses Ellipses the achilles heal of auto-artists. :) Pls check out this link and other links in the "tutorial" thread

Keep up the good work.
Oh you may want to trace too. I started out tracing back in the day, and to tell you the truth I think it helped me become a better artist, and I still trace, don't let no artist fool you they all trace even if it is their own artwork. I think graphic artists trace a lot w/ programs like Adobe Illustrator, but they still know the basics of free hand drawing. Tracing is just another tool; I am just saying it helped me out a lot. I draw w/ all sorts of tools and yes I can draw free hand too. :)
I just noticed I have a lot of smiles. I don't care what y'all think I like smiles :) What can I say I am happy to be alive.
Take care

Your VW looks good. It looks a little like a cartoon, perhaps it is supposed to be?
So you are in college. What is your major?
