ok couple questionss, first, where can i buy a headgasket for my 96 eclipse RS (non turbo) i was thinking one of the copper racing gaskets(as per the usual dsm rules"if it breaks, upgrade it")and if i have to take my head off is there anything i should think about upgrading. i heard if i want to eventually turbo i need to redo the "top end" to run more than 10psi. something that the bottom end is nice and stronger on this block than the 4g63...?

Just rebuild the whole engine, that way when you do get the TURBO you can push more than 8psi....When I say rebuild I mean like forged pistons and rods, thicker headgasket, crankshaft, bearings, etc.....I think thats all you really need to push around 20psi or so, but you may need to check the whole bottom end.....get some more opinions though....because im :screwy:

you should probably go ahead and do the timing belt too while your in there...if it hasnt been done already

ok im not the smartest dsm guy out there, but there is no way the 420 can hold anywhere near the same psi as the 4g63, and i know that the rods suck on the 420a because i bent 2 of them. but can the 420a block hold over 15-20 psi?
