Just got 2004 Silverado, 5.3L V8. Most of the muffler shops in my area carry Flowmaster and Magnaflow systems. I would like to have a deep rumble sound. I have a 19' boat I pull sometimes 300-400 miles. Could I get some recommendations please?
Thx

Really depends. The magnaflow will give you better hp numbers, due to the straight through design, but the flowmaster will be louder. I went with two single inlet/outlet 3" magnaflows. It sounds mean, but could be due to the Thorleys, no cats setup. Of course, when I really want to make some noise, just hit the switch and open the cutouts!!! Nothing like open headers!!!
