This is my first post,
I have a 1990 Continental 126,000 miles today going down the hwy at 65mph the car just died electricly, no power anywhere no light no clock nothing. After towed home put on charger and it pinned the needle, major short somewhere. How do I find? I do have a 1989 continental for parts so I can switch some parts. Please don't be too technical in response I can get around a car pretty well at time.
Thank you

That would be really scary! I am new to the forums too (just joined a couple of hours ago). Sorry I can't provide any help. :(

Found the problem, wire around starter had rubbed through the insulation and was grounding out. Very simple fix.
