Is there anything like a turbo/headers/etc etc that would be avaliable for the 88 'lude? I would especially like a supercharger, but I don't think they have them avaliable for my car model (or do they?) Does anyone out there know the full list of the limited amount of upgrades that you can make to ths car? Or if not, dos anyone know what upgrades you can make period besides an intake?
I need some help...

Try ebay if you want to save a little money. Search 88 prelude from the home page. You can also search 89 90 91. I have spent about 3 stacks on parts for my 88 Si. I have purchased a body kit,JDM motor, Intake, Audio and bunch of more stuff. Ebay is the source to buying the parts I need. If you have truobles finding anything let me know. I can find it. Email me at [email protected]

you can get some gains from using synthetic oil, i suggest royal purple, an replacing all the other fluids. its not much, maybe 3-4 horsepower at most but its worth it, keeps the engine in good shape

www.preludepower.com is another great pelude site.
There are tons of parts for a 88 lude. Try finding parts for a 87.
BTW there is no "Cheep upgrade" for large HP gains. $ + Knowhow = HP.

WWW.PRELUDEPOWER.COM quit asking and fucking search around. Don't be lazy.
Any turbo set up will not be "Cheep".
For a junk yard turbo set up ( You will need to do welding for this ) your looking at $ 300-Anything
For a nice turbo set up it could cost you $1000 and up.
A Gredy intercooler kit runs around $2000.
Read as much as you can about your engine and car!!!

Thats why people come here "BUD". To ask questions and give help.
You can get headers and cat back by DC or Pacesetter. Cold air iintake. Both of these will be least expensive. Like this jackass says try preludepower. They get picky about searching so try the search first

Yeah, I kinda HAVE been looking around; I've seen people referring to stuff like r/s and turbo but i still don't know what r/s is or instructions on how to make a custom turbo...I'm kinda lost lol and I'm just trying to fill in all the holes about stuff I can't find.

heh..thanks. I'm getting smarter by the second...Thanks to all of you for helping me out, especially sofast; but I have one more question- I've heard that Pacemaker headers suck, is there any truth for this? Because Pacemaker is the only company I have seen that manufactures headers for the 88 lude'...

Pacesetter is not top of the line but works good. DC would be the way to go if you can find them for 88-89. Chances are you will have to buy 90-91 DC headers and add the O2 sensor ports. Ebay had them. Search from the home page "91 Prelude DC "
