water pump

hi guys whats a good water pump to get mine is starting to make a noise now but when i turn the defrost on it stops i dont hear it now does that meen its going bad or something got stuck in it thanks

The bearings are probably worn and the pump is slowly on its way out.. WHen you turn the defrost on, it lowers the engine RPM.. thats probably why the squeeling stops..

I like to stick to OE parts.. Go to a GM dealership.. With parts like that that are a PITA to change, Its a good idea to stay away from auto parts stores like Partsource or Canadian tire.. (or Autozone or Pep boys if you live in US)
