changing break pads need help

Hi I'm a noob here and was trying to change out the break pads on my wifes 96 sunfire. What size are the bolts I need to loosen on the caliper to remove and how many bolts. Sorry for the question but I cant seem to get anything to fit in the two caliper holes to remove.

Yes Thanks to GTP Dad for the quick help. Here's a how to for anyone who is thinking of changing out Rotors and Pads.

Once car is properly jacked up and tires are removed.

1. Locate top caliper bolt on the backside of caliper.
2. Using a 3/8 Hex drive bolt loosen top bolt.
3. Locate bottom caliper bolt on the backside of caliper.
4. Using a 3/8 Hex drive bolt loosen bottom bolt.
5. Pull off the caliper from the rotor (you may need to pry a little to
get it loose)
6. W-D 40 the rotor hub and studs and pull the rotor off.
7. Use a C-clamp to disengage the caliper so it will fit back on the
rotors.
8. Install new brake pads into caliper.
9. Install new rotor put some lugs on hand tight to hold the rotor in
place.
10. Install caliper back on rotor and tighten the two caliper bolts.

Put tires back on and lower the car make sure to pump your brakes a couple of times and make sure they are grabbing before start the car and drive.

6> Don't use lubricant on your brake parts like rotors, a rubber mallet or deadblow will do the trick. not criticizing just pointing out a fatal flaw in the instructions if I were ever to pull out wd-40 for a brake job my father would slap the shiz out of me.

I did that a month ago....how much difficulty in doing the rear drum brakes on a '95? and what additional tools would I need if I try?

you need to work the drum off the shoes, but not any harder really. there will be a ridge on the drum from wear and brake dust/rust.

you should have a spring tool for ease of removal and install, but needle nose pliers will work.
