Yesterday my daughter's Chreokee let her down on the side of the road. It sputtered and died, she said, like it was out of gas. Added gas and nothing. Called Dad. Dad found blown fuel pump fuse. Replaced use and it blows the 30 fuse after starting for a second or so. Any ideas?
Much thanks

HI, THERE ALSO A RELAY FOR THE FUEL PUMP IN THE BOX WHERE THE FUSE IS LOCATED. CHECK THE RELAY COULD BE BAD OR STICKING TURN LID OVER IT WILL TELL WHICH RELAY IS FOR FUEL PUMP QUESTIONS HOLLER [email protected] DALE

Thanks for the return --- I did check, using the owners manual as a guide to which was which. All the relays have the same number on top so I changed them out to see if that was the case but no change. I also took the top of the relay off to see if there was any sign of overheating, but none was evident.

Does it still blow the fuse if the relay is out? I know you won't be able to start the car.
