1997 Deville Power Window

My 97 Deville Concours driver's side window went down at the mailbox yesterday and will not go back up. All other windows function. Fuses at all 3 locations are good. When pressed for "down" a click can be heard in the switch / circuitboard. I have the switch panel removed, but cannot figure out how to remove the door panel from teh Haynes manual. Prying along the trim panel with a HD putty knife meets with great resistance.. and I don't want to destroy the panel. Also, do I need to diconnect the battery or otherwise disarm the side impact airbag before removing the door panel to get the window back up? I queried several threads on door panel removal that has been viewed hundreds of times with no replys. PLEASE HELP US. Thanks :eek7:
