Ok guys I posted last week about getting some upgrades for my gsx! This is the list ive constructed with a few members help which i greatly thank =D! Tell me what you guys think.

1) Apex-I Intercooler w/ Piping
2) Evo3 16g turbo with j pipe and ss oil kit
3) Injen SI Intake System
4) Apex-I N1 Exhuast system
5) Downpipe to fit Evo3 and Apex exhuast
6) 650 ball style fuel injectors
7) DSMLink
8) 95 epu with Eprom

Im getting all of this for about 2500.00 bucks so dont worrie about the price on some stuff. Just tell me if you think the parts are good or if anything should be added or takin off. Thx

7 and 8 are bigtime, wise choice. If you are going with 7 and 8, might as well make number 6 FIC 950s. Why? Same reason a dog licks his balls. Because you can. DSMlink easily makes 950s work, why upgrade twice. The rest of the list has way more name brand stuff than I would run on my car, but thats your call, not mine. For a FMIC I would get something more like the Kinetic/SBR or AGP kit. #2 looks good. For the DP try www.roadraceengineering.com, I use the "long" version for the regular O2 housing. If you get the EVO O2 housing, they offer another version to properly mate up to that, and RRE uses Apex for thier 3" flanges. ;)

The list looks great man! Ya you could get bigger injectors too, like Kevin said. Let us know how everything works out.

Good Luck!

YES! You can save big bucks by getting stuff off DSMtuners and ebay like joematt says. Thats what I have done since the past 3 years....purcahsed over $3000 worth of stuff, saved atleast $2500 over time. Give it a shot.

definitly dump the Apexi IC for one of the ones that 95GSXracer suggested. or look into a Spearco core and some custom pipes. RRE is the best in DP's as well. also look into some custom pipes and muffler [3''] for a way cheaper and just as good exhaust. and don't forget you are going to want some extra gauges too...

Yah I know i can get cheaper stuff but my pal owns a shop and he gets everything really cheap so im gonna get the stuff for the same price as the ebay stuff. So its al good =D! Ill put RRE Downpipe on there and increase the injectors to 950. thx

Might want to add a new fuel pump too. A walbro 190lph should suffice for that turbo. And of course the other little thing that make a big difference (boost gauge, boost controller, etc). Nice list :)

Yeah, good one. Fuel pump if you dont have it already. Thats a mean list, short though it seems. Lots of power players in there, mainly DSMlink. You're a set of cams away from making that 16g beg for its life...

Any of you guys been ripped off on ebay or should I do the same? I've been kinda afraid to buy my parts on ebay.

no i think ebay is pretty reliable. i buy stuff from there all the time. you juss got to make sure you know what your buying and read the whole thing through. and i suggest make payments with a card juss in case they do try to screw you, you can call your card company.

Oh yea and don't forget a clutch as well. My stocker is slipping pretty damn badly with just the mods listed in my sig :( . The ACT 2600 w/ their Xact streetlite flywheel would be a great choice! It's what's next on my list! :)

I'm more suspicious of DSMtrader classifieds. Be very wary about what people are selling on there...especially without pictures

:iagree:
DSMtraders is very risky, there are too many scammers and ppl trying to rip you off. Unfortunately i have been a victim on DSMtuners! :banghead:

if you buy from dsmtuners, dsmtrader or ebay, use your credit card thru paypal, etc. that way if you get ripped, you can file fraud charges and be reimbursed 100% through the credit card company.

i was ripped once on the trader for $100 for an injen intake. got pictures and everything, but dude just didn't send it. anyway, i got my full refund from citibank real quick.

on the flipside, i bought ground control coilovers and koni yellows for $50 from the trader. yes, i said $50. the GCs were new, and the konis are still going very strong 6+ months later.
