ya i know this isnt the right forum but i didnt get anywhere askin in the right forum so now that i dont have my maro im forced to drive a 89 ford
taurus.... couple weeks after i started driving it , it would stall if i didnt press on the gas while turning , or turning while still , got worse it wouldnt stay runing if i didnt have my foot on the gas , driving with 2 feet works but.......

so anyway i pulled the plugs its runing wayyyy too rich funny cause i just had it smoged , but i bought a new rotor and cap , plugs and wires even a new fuel filter that a didnt slove a thing so now where should start looking for answers

sounds like its bad timing if it runs rough and you need constant pedal assistance my guess would be the timing (fords are always bad for it)

I know every Tauras Ive come to work on has all shared one similar problem they have faulty fuel pumps.. But these would only stall the car if it was hot out, after it had been running for a little while.. Check the fuel pressure, then check the fuel pressure after driving it for a while when the pump heats up

i thought it was timing but my dad says it should be right on cause it was just smoged , i should check it tho
