94 blazer transmission problems

i just got a 94 blazer 4.3 v6 4x4. the problem is the tranny.. when starting from 1 to 2 it shifts fine and then to the next gear you can just tac it out and it wont shift, its like its a manual and your reving it up and it doesnt go anywhere, after a couple times of reving it up it will catch hard into the gear and then from then on its fine.the tranny fluid is fine. doesnt smell burnt or anything. im really in a bind here i know there has to be some selonoids or something because its not throwing any check engine codes either.. can anyone help me out with this please

no one had this problem or something?

i got the same problem except mine finally stopped catching...lemme know if you find anything out.
