Instrument cluster lighting, and MISC

Hey hows it goin... i need some suggestions for this problem... i have a 2001 pontiac grand am se
a couple months ago i installed a new cd player and subwoofer, everything works, except for some lighting this includes the lighting to see the instrument panle in the dark but all of the other lights work in the panel eccept for the gas light gauge tach rpm and temp they dont glow red anymore also the ETS and Hazard buttons dont light up anymore, and the gear P N R D 1 2 3 dont light up and the door lock buttons dont glow, i cant rember if it worked the first time i installed the stereo and then stopped working but i think it worked the firtst time, my stereo works and is the only thing that lights up i have checked all the fuses there fine i have tryed installing the stock deck and the lighting on that works but the other lights dont, on the wiring harness i used is a GM aftermaket harness and is fine ther are two wires one for illumination and dimmer but there is no where to connect them. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT COULD BE THE MLAFUNCTION???

Did you have the recall on your turn signals done? I had instrament lighting troubles till they replaced my ets and hazard light harness in the dash also several other electrical functions are working better now as well.
