Check Engine Light & "In 2"

I have purhased a 96 a4 audi FWD. It's been two months since my purchase and the "check engine" light has appeared and also the "In 2" light has also appeared. Does anyone know what the common problem is associated with these two warning lights? I already paid about 1200k to fix all eight control arms and now this. the ln2 code is just a code that means you should take it in for its x number of miles service check up...the dealer wants you to bring it back to them every so many miles so they can rape you with things you dont need...when you bring it in they would clear the code...if you want you can ignore that light or maybe go to the dealer and ask for them to clear it...the check engine light is probably something with the oxygen sensors...thats be my bet...but you should have that checked out...the check engine light usually goes off if something is wrong with the emission system...and its usually the o2 sensors
