which B series engine is the best BASE to start with for your cars performance - which one would you say has the most potential?

My vote is for b18c. stock internals capable of higher redline.

Are we talking turbo, or all motor. If turbo, I would go with the b18b. Great internals for turbo and nice torque numbers too.
If we are talking all motor, I would go with the b18c. No need to get the type "R" version, the GS-R will do just fine and be cheaper. The type R only has better cams, pistons, and air flow. If your building an all motor engine, these things will be replaced anyway. As for the air flow, you can port and polish the head and get the same results.
PS. If you are chosing between a whole car, that is a different story. As far as cars as a whole, the type R is much better than the GSR. Food for thought.

just bumpin . . . . im talking about both - turbo and all motor - whatever you can do the most with and get the most gains . . .

or if you were truly a pimp you could say screw the B and get a C32B1 and have the first nsx motor grafted into an integra! hmm....

If your unsure of your intent as far as turbo/all motor. I would go with the b18c1.

u can't go wrong with a b18c1, but for turbo or a frankenstein swap, the b18b1 is the best choice.

ya, but built turbo ls/vtecs are monsters too.

ls/vtec period, is a monster. It's risky though. Only because you have to find a mechanic that realy knows how to do the conversion correctly, and most wont admit that they have little experience with it.

or instead of using a weaker block like a LS use the GSR one hell its allpart then a GSR block then do rods pistons all that too for a even better turbo motor.
wait shuddaup Max now there going to buy all the GSR blocks and you wont have one for yours OH SHIT!
you guys never read this

that's just an nsx with an integra body!
considering rwd... you'd need the nsx chassis
