I've been thinking about getting some new plugs for my car. I've been looking at the Bosch Platinum +4 but just wanted your opinions first. I'm also thinking about getting wires as well. Which plugs have you guys bought for your cars? My fuel economy is getting bad so hope this will help. Thanks.

Iridiums work better in grand ams and I use blue streak triple silicone 7mm wires. Pontiac uses iridiums in there grand ams stock now. I tried 8.8mm accels and theres no difference but those plags made a huge difference oh and there single diode plugs those platinum x4's dont do anything special trust me.

Thanks Markgase! What engine do you have in your car - 4 or 6 cylinder? I have the 2.4 litre 4 cylinder. If you have the 4 what kind of mileage do you get?

Thanks. I just did a calculation on mine, it's around 23 mpg mostly highway. I don't think that is very good fuel economy for highway driving. I had to convert it from km to miles since I live in Canada. Pretty sure it's right though. Thanks again.

It's a 2000. Why do you ask?
