95 blazer smoking

my 1995 blazer smokes only when i leave the car running for 5 mins. or when im stuck in traffic. blue smoke, so im figuring that im burning oil, correct? what would cause this? does smoke when i start up the car. only after 5 mins or so of sitting at idle...

The simplest thing is to change your PCV for a start. It doesn't cost much.
