as far as the engine is concerned.....

is the intake manifold the only diference?
that is.....
if you exchange the carb manifold with a DPFI manifold, do you end up with a DX engine???

or are more changes needed to achive the (rated) 92hp of the DX?

well there were two 1.5 liters, a d15b1 70something hp, and a d15b2 92hp. and the HF wasnt carbed.

I have a JDM "CV Dual Carb" 16valve D15B
I am thinking this carb manifold was bolted on to run test the engine before sale.

Really? I know some EDM comes carb but not sure about JDM. I definitely thought they were all fuel injected.

those carbed ones are pretty fast, might as well keep it insted of converting it to duel point

reeeeeeely?

how would I hook it up to my harness?

what about the fuel pump I have on the car from the DPFI? Won't that cause trouble for the carbs?

what would I change for this carb mod?

Do you have any numbers on the carb vs DPFI?

The air cleaner sits on the back, between the engine and firewall....seems crowded

I think the dualpoint injection was a joke. It's just a supped up carberator and it's amazing though how well it keep ups with daily driving. But honda got it right with the 5th gen. If only :(

I am gonna keep it simple since this is my first swap

I will stay with the DPFI for now
all the vacuum lines on the carbifold at least twice as many) are all chopped off, as are the harness wires
I must use my cars current stuff

but I will prbly go mini me 1.5 next

TheSilentChamber

I'll have to look up and see how much it would cost to do a carb setup, I'll let you know though.

i have a $5300 budget as of now :p but im waiting untill i can find another job and waiting what happens in court.

a dual dual carburetor setup will be powerful as hell, but sucks for autocross because with carbs youre only going to make power in a limited powerband; like a non-vtec engine. but set it up for high-rpm power(like around 7000rpm) and you will be happy. btw Bisi runs carbs ;) he was able to make 240ish hp out of a d15b(race fuel).

jeez

I got that????

maybe I need to keep it.......lol
