Save The Lightnings!!!!!

Bummer.

im more bummed about the f-body's no one, alot more people want a fast car than a fast truck

But there are a lot more fast cars then fast trucks..

I read that they were going to bring out the new lighting when SVT is done with the 2006 cobra.

The Lightning is dead, but only for a few years. They spent alot of money in making the newer model, which I doubt they'll pass on making, now that they have invested soo much. The new version is suppose to have up to 500 horsepower.

i read that they aren't bringing all the SVT's out at once...06 will be the cobra, 07-08 will be the lightning...big reason is because of the new frame, they would have to mod it so much that it would not be worth it, so they are goin to take the extra time to get it right...not that i am a big fan of ford or anything but ya ;-)

They should definitely keep the Lightning in production. I've been for a ride in one and they are great. Ford also needs something to compete with the Ram SRT-10, and a 500hp Lightning sounds like a good recipe to me.
