also somethings when im drivng and shift the neutral (manuel) to roll in a red light, the idle hits 0 and the car dies -_-. is it the new tranny??? pleaze help!

i saw you have a k&n filter. when i had my filter replaced one (ya i know its simple but i was young and they were doing an alignment, so i said sure, go ahead), they replaced the stock air filter, but for some stupid reason decided to unplug the mass air sensor. well b/c that was unplugged, whenever i started the car, it would rev up to 1500, then die. i could drive it fine as long as i didn't come to a stop and let it idle. whenever it would idle, the rpms would just fall off and it would die.

so you might check that first: see if your MAS is plugged in.

here is the MAS plug right behind the air filter

and here is the actual plug... check to see if this is plugged in.

Same thing happened to me, its not your tranny, you can be sure of that so dont worry! its something related to your air/fuel management, lots of things could be happening. 1. your Throttle control motor is dirty or died. 2. your throttle body is dirty or loose or stuck. 3. your idle possition sensor burned out. 4. bad fuel pump.

you have to make sure all the little motors on the throttle body are plugged in. I realy dont think its your fuel pump or injectors or MAS cause anyone of those would make your check engine light turn on.

my car did that crap too and the dealer told me it was a bad throttle body, i know it was probably a stupid TCS but ohhh well, at least the fixxed it

oh crap almost forgot, one time my negative cable on the battery got loose and also did that same thing, minute i'd let off the gas for any reason the car would die. make sure your battery ports are clean and the pluggs are tight.
