Found an alt..

Found a used alternator (extra parts from a shop after an SR swap) I'm not sure what year KA it came off of, it looks like it mounts the same as mine, but the positive plug is in a slightly different possition so I know it wasn't a 1990 sohc.

Think I should give this one a shot for $40 it's not re0maned, but it looks like it's in great shape. A re-man alternator costs about $150, so the price is right. =)

what should I do?

40$ isnt bad, but then again, its a mystery alternater

all KA alternators look the same and have same mounts.before my swap i was running a dohc alt on my sohc motor.
