Sterring knucle & strut problem

Ok, I'm trying to do a CV boot (drivers side) and one of the bolts holding the strut to the sterring knuckle is rounded/rusted into place lol. How would I go about getting it out. I've already tried WD-40 many times, tried heating up the knuckle/bolt and hitting it out, and no luck. Can I just release the strut from the mount and the lower control arm will just swing down and allow me access? Or will I have to take it (control arm) out of its two mounts to get at this stupid thing? Any help will be appreciated :D Thanks.
