I have a 1990 eagle talon tsi fwd, 5spd and i had to replace my ecu but the only one i had was an awd, 5spd ecu so i used it it started and since it is a newer ecu i switched the two wires i belive its wires #6 and #14 its the Idle position switch and the Air flow sensor active filter reset and it runs good but for some reason i have to pull the wires coming of the ics motor tight or the engine will stall on sputter and loss a lot of power should i just replace my ics motor? please leave any suggestions
Thanks

I can't help you with your question, but it would be beneficial if you were to use some punctuation. Your post is difficult to understand and may prevent some people from being able to help. Good luck!

There should be no difference in the ECUs unless its auto to manual. For 1g that makes a difference (injector size). I'm assuming you used a non 90 ECU or you wouldnt have had to swap those wires. At any rate, if the only problem is with the ISC wiring, none of this may even matter ;) Find out whats up with that first. May not be the ISC itself, could be the harness side. Check out the connections for corrosion, loose pins, etc.
