Left speakers not working with CD, skips a lot too

Hi,
I just got a 98 civic dx coupe...... it came with an Alpine 6cd changer, which is cool, but I'm having a couple problems with it.
First of all, it skips whenever I hit a minor bump in the road. It's mounted in the top of the trunk with 2 L-shaped hinges. Is there anything I can do to stop it from skipping?
Second, the left front and back speakers in my car don't play treble or bass when I'm playing CDs (they work fine on the radio)..... they just play a low garble of the current song. Any ideas what could be causing that?
Thanks a lot!

he said they work with the radio... also to prevent skipping i suggest you mount the cd player somewhere else.. or you can try to put some type of rubber washers on the screws or bolts that hold the l shaped hinges... something needs to absorb the vibration. also if the speakers are only playing well in radio and not in cd changer mode... is the radio a stock OEM radio? It might not be interfacing with the alpine changer correctly. thats a pure guess
