I'm ordering one this week, but I still can't decide which one to go.
what do yall think tanabe hyper's sound level? Is it loud or quiet?
I thought it suppost to be quiet, but I've told that it's pretty loud when u step on the gas pedal.
anyone??
If u have apexi ws, please post ur pix.....
thanks:)

I think that tanabe exhausts are a little too loud for my taste but you may like it. I would go with apex.

I've heard that both are quite loud. I have the older Tanabe G Power medallion series, which is much quieter.

ah?? G-power has larger tip than those two, isn't it?
how can it be quieter than those two?

Most Tanabe exhausts are pretty loud. I think the Apex should be a little quieter.

no...mine is probably one of the earlier versions of the G power...but the tip is only like2.5 or 3 inches. Is pretty quiet for sports exhaust. Has low deep sound when driving normally, and when Vtec cuts in, it opens up gets a bit louder.
However its not like some exhausts that you can hear from blocks away.

Both the Tanabe G-power and Hyper Medalion is louder than the World Sport. My friend has them and it's definitely louder than my Apexi WS.
Both Tanabe system are straight-through muffler design which will yield more power in most application than the WS. But there is like a 2inch long flange right after the cat on these two exhausts that is smaller than the rest of the pipings. You might want to replace that if the newer Super Medalion still have them.
The WS has a chambered muffler design like stock exhaust. This exhaust is one of the quietest one on the market. Comptech is the other. Get it if you only plan on staying with bolt-ons.
