96 Corolla stalls when cornering

my 96 Corolla stalls when making sharp corners, runs fine the rest of the time. after turning a corner you push on the gas and no throttle response for a few seconds sometimes it stalls sometimes it recovers. Anybody know what could cause this.

I have had a simillar problem. At speed on the Hiway the car would cut out, I replaced the plugs/wires. No Change. Then changed the Fuel filter, huge difference.
Try the Fuel filter first.

Instructions from the manual for
REMOVAL
1. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE AND CAP
(a) Disconnect the IAT sensor connector.
(b) Loosen the air cleaner hose clamp bolt.
(c) Disconnect the 4 air cleaner cap clips.
(d) Disconnect the air cleaner hose from the throttle body,
and remove the air cleaner cap together with the air cleaner
hose.
2. REMOVE CHARCOAL CANISTER
(a) Disconnect the 2 EVAP hoses from the charcoal canister.
(b) Remove the charcoal canister from the bracket.
3. DISCONNECT FUEL INLET HOSE AND PIPE
(a) Put a suitable container or shop towel under the fuel filter.
(b) Remove the union bolt and 2 gaskets, and disconnect the
fuel inlet hose from the fuel filter outlet.
HINT:
Slowly loosen the union bolt.
Torque: 29.5 N·m (300 kgf·cm, 22 ft·lbf)
HINT:
At the time of installation, plaese refer to the following items.
Install the union bolt with 2 new gaskets.
(c) Using SST, disconnect the inlet pipe from the fuel filter.
SST 09631–22020
Torque: 30 N·m (310 kgf·cm, 22 ft·lbf)
HINT:
At the time of installation, plaese refer to the following items.
Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 30 cm (11.81 in.).
4. REMOVE FUEL FILTER
Remove the 2 bolts and the fuel filter.
Torque: 5.0 N·m (50 kgf·cm, 43 in.·lbf)
Try the Fuel filter first.
