4g eclipse

I heard that it might have a seperate electric engine in the back and that will power the wheels in the rear even while you shift with the front wheels. I also heard it supposed to have like 400 hp. Is any of this true?

thats the prototype car. as much as everybody wishes that was gonna be the real car, its not. i think that car will cost you over $100,000.

the real 4g eclipse that is scheduled to come out for the 2006 model year will have a 3.8L V6, 260hp, 260 tq, 18in wheels and 650-watt Rockford Fosgate audio system with 6-CD in-dash changer, MP3 playback, nine speakers with a 10-inch subwoofer

thats what its suppose to be, but they might change some of it.
still no turbo. and from pictures ive seen, the styling looks horrible

Yeah they will most likely change and or take out some of the features before production

that sounds expensive!! sure beats the 3.8 you get in the mustang though, man thats a piece of crap! and from those options it sounds like it'll be almost the price of an evo unless they find someway to use even cheaper parts for them

the '05 V6 mustang has a 4.0 SOHC instead of the old pushrod 3.8, the 4.0 is slightly less crappy

i think the 4g eclipse will retail around the price of a 3g GT model.

i was up at the dealer yesterday, and one of the guys there brought up the 06 eclipse. He was saying that Mitsubishi's suppose to put them out on sale in June. He said it will use the 3.8, and will be front wheel, but he says there's a slight possibility of an awd variant in '07, but he also said there was a picture of it on the mitsubishicar site, but i didn't find that, so i don't know how reliable of a source he is.

I'm sorry people, I think theyve fone way off with the deisng. WTF is that supposd to look like anyways. It looks space age, but it 'dont look like no eclipse'.

that sounds about right...except for the picture of course
