Whats a better air filter?

I had to get a new Air Filter yesterday. I was wondering which is better. The pepboys I bought from had FRAM and K&N, but I didn't want to spend the extra $30 for all that, I just bought a regular non-name brand one. Any suggestions?

Buy an reusable AMSOIL or TRD air filter online. They last forever with the cleaning/reoiling kit.

The AMSOIL filter is a plastic mesh element and the TRD filter element is made of cotton. I believe the cotton element is more efficient.

I wasn't aware of the TRD air filter. I'll research it some more. Thanks Brian.

Actually, it's an AEM filter that is sold by TRD. You can buy the identical filter from AEM.
