Hey everyone, here is problem with my 1997 Buick Century. Check engine light went on. There were to problems, camshaft sensor and cylinder missfires. Ok changed the sensor along with the spark plugs and ignition wires. Same problem the day after, check engine light came on againg-says missfire in the first cylinder, car seems to work fine. Need help to figure out what's going on. Changed fuel filter too.

You say the car is running fine now? If this is the case try some fuel injection cleaner. These cars have probles with fuel injectors plugging up. Good Luck.

No, we've had a lot of problems with these at the shop, assuming it's the newer Century, a lot of them come from the factory with bad injectors, we had one with a misfire right off the transport, just get it replaced. I would say 98 and newer have this problem.

Ditto, My 98 lives on STP fuel injection cleaner about every other month.

I would just change the one that's faulty for now, they are very expensive.
