i've never seen a supercharger kit for a stock mustang motor that's designed for more than 9. i believe that 14 would eventually blow it up.

im not gunna buy a kit im thinking i want a kenne bell supercharger, and u can buy them with a number of different pullies. and ill get 42lbs injectors 225l/hr fule pump, new throttle bod/mass air meter and basically build the kit my self.

yeah i think it will go bomb 14 psi you will have around 580 to 610 hp thats alot on stock internals, but not postive

Stock 302 blocks are really only reliable at 10psi with some type of air charge cooling. After that your playing bad odds.

That's funny shit.

intercooler and alcohol injection. When I get out of college this may and get some money saved up, I plan to figure out for myself how much boost a stock 302 can hold. I think as long as you are not pre deat. you should be fine. Im not for sure though. I will have to do it myself and see.

I can already answer ya questions Hypsi.... as much boost without pre deat as you can pump in it until you make 500+HP cause your gonna crack the main webbing.

TT 5.0 guys have been making ~500hp on low intercooled boost levels(~10psi) on stock block, stock internal 5.0's. Once you climb over 500HP your main webbing is your restriction.

Intercooled S/C guys make the 500hp mark around 14psi and then run into the main webbing issues also.

can you get something to support it or are you stuck buying a dart block?

A Mexican/B50 block is a great alternative. I didn't belive how strong they were after I cracked a Mexi block at about 550 RWHP with nitrous, but this summer a friend of mine broke the 9's on a mexican block 306 running an eagle crank/rods and SRP pistons, some trick flow's, a blow-thru 650 holley on a weiand xcelerator, and twin TO4E 60 trim's. Keeps the RPM's down to about 6300 at the shifts, and traps 138.

I think there was a flaw in my mexi block that caused it to crack at 550 RWHP. I would feel comfortable with a mexican or B50 block to around 650-700-ISH RWHP.

What about a DSS block CNC 20 they can hold 750 hp.

Those are a retarded waste of money, they would never hold 750 HP. They're a stock, weak mains, thin wall block with some material removed. Isn't going to do shit to make up for the fact that stock blocks are weak. Go look at the bottom end of one some day, the main bolts are barely even tied into the main caps, they had to put a semicircle of extra metal along the edge of the main cap for the bolt to have atleast SOME meat to grab into. The stock blocks are inherently weak with lots of flaws, and CNC machning them down is not going to do anything.

in the 5.0 & sf they had a stock moter besides S/C making 14pounds of boost and he ran mid 10s.
