Hey, trying to find a part for my kid's car. It's the lower, exterior panel on the driver's side of a 92 Bonneville. Been looking for 1/2 year in our area (Southern Louisiana) without any luck. Dealer, etc. wants $400 bucks for the part. Don't want to pay that rip off price. Anyone know of a national junk car site, etc?

What trim level is the car? (SE, SSE, SSEi) I have one from a 93 SE (black). The trim is the same from 92 to 95. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you are looking for the rocker panel trim that extends the length of the car between the wheels?

As a matter of fact, I have all of the door trim pieces along with most of the plactic fasteners too. Here's a pic of the car before I got into it:

It will have to be prepped and painted but I have the right part. I'll include 4 of the strap type fasteners to replace your two broken ones but it looks like you will have to order 2 additional clips. The lower left (referencing your picture) broke upon removal and I don't think I have the upper right but I'll check. Come to think of it... there was no difference between left and right side strap fasteners so I might be able to include the ones from the passenger side.

Let me know if you want it.

i found a website that offers OEM GM online catalogs 24-7. had the parts shipped to my home cheaper than buying from my local dealer. www.gm-car-parts.com

I'm definitely interested, name your price... and where are you located by the way?

Here's the door trim and the fasteners:

The car has 146k miles so there is some road debris and minor scratches usually seen with a vehicle with this kind of milage. I'll take $50 plus shipping paid via Paypal or money order. Again, I'll include 4 of the fasteners shown in the pic and the other fasteners you are missing if I have then and they are in decent shape. I'm located in Western MA.

One side note: www.gm-car-parts.com has a better search function than other sites but www.gmpartsdirect.com is a few bucks cheaper. I've purchased parts from both and strangely enough, gm-car-parts pricing before shipping is exactly what gmpartsdirect is with shipping.

Click on the email link at the bottom of this post to send me some contact information.

Randman,
I think I can figure out Paypal,
How much will it be for shipping and is there anything else I need to know to get you the dough?
Do you know where to ship?

I'll request funds via paypal once you have it set up and have funds available. All you have to do then is click "pay". I can't see shipping being more than $7 so we'll call it $57 total including shipping.

I would recommend that you edit your post above and delete your personal information. You can send me your paypal username using the Private Message function of this forum. Just click on my username in any of my posts (or anyone else you wish to send personal information to) and click on the "send randman1 a private message" link.

It usually takes 3-4 days to transfer funds from a bank account to a Paypal account so keep me posted.
