85% complete F1 ferrari 2001 tamiya

Hello, just wanted to show you my preassembled F1, reason that i didn’t show the progress pics is that i didn’t have a cam back when i began to build, so hope these last assembling touches show some progress before the complete thing, btw the white bits are left overs from rubbing compound. Not sure when I’ll be done on this project, kind of bored from it and I am expecting an enzo kit with photo etch parts arrive soon so ill begin on that shortly, and yes ill prob make an in-depth progress on it if you’ll like! Cheers tell me what you think so far!

Looking good, a real hard worked example (dare I say about ready for the nose to fall off :p). At first I thought, what have you done, what is all that white stuff? Was relieved to read it was all just rubbing compound :)

Hehe, ya its rubbing compound i would get pissed if it was primer showing throught cause i put in some time into this ride. I was going for that one run off look after the race sorta thing, weathered engine, 5 lap tires and sweat from the driver on the seat belts. Still some rear wing work is left and gonna put foil into the heat resisting carbon floor of the car. cheers

Wow! The black washing on the engine really stands out. Just melts in my eyes!

BTW The black area around the exhaust should not be in carbon fiber...
