Tranny Fluid & Fliter Change

Im going too try and do this myself...From what all ive read in here it seems fairly easy and I know the Fluid to use (Info from in here)
Ok, do I need to Torq them bolts back down? I dont want over tighten and strip anything out...If so then what setting??

My chilton manual states to torque to 8 ft pounds, (11NM) in a criss cross pattern..you might want to take a 10 to 15 minute ride to warm up the trainy fluid before starting..good luck

TY so much..I was going to get one of those and my local store was out...They said they'd have more this week sometime....
Does anyone know much about the filter Advance sales? its comes with the filter and gaskt for like 9.00
Kit says ATC ...I know to stay away from FRAM Junk

the hardest part is getting the pan off w/o dropping the exhaust. it CAN be done.....the bell housing plate has to come off (which involves creative moving of the cooler lines) and I found its easier to unbolt the tranny motor mount and jack up the rear of the tranny by the xfer case.
btw - add a drain plug. makes next change easier.

Make sure you don't just dump the fluid in the pan.
