A buddy of mine was telling me about some program his uncle had on his computer....the program starts you out with the base engine of your choice, and you plug in all the parts...for instance, a 327 as the engine, i plug in an edlebrock performer 750cc carburator, and performer aluminum intake....well, you plug in all your parts, then it tells you how much torque and hp it will have...its pretty much a computer simulation of dyno tests...the question is, does anybody know of a good program like this that is worth checking out? Im trying to build a big block right now, and i want to map it out first...thanks

I tried something similar to this when I built my Mustang over the winter. I gave HP, torque, and estimated 1/4 mile times. I never dynoed the car and the 1/4 mile times were about 6/10ths off.

Ya, the program is called desktop dyno. You can pick it up at your local performance store.
