Hey guys, I just went down to a local car audio shop and got the following prices.
Coustic amp 800Q - $260.00
JL WO 12'' - $100.00
Box - $70.00
Amp kit - $30.00
JL TR650 CSI - $200.00
Plus tax it is going to be around $725.00 installed.
Do you think I could do better buying online? I think I am just going to drop the components and get the sub with a smaller amp.

-Personally I wouldnt buy a W0, i mean their good and all, but if your looking a better BOOM id go with a W3v2. Thats what I have and it works great. Ive heard other people say that the w0 is good, but nothing like the w3. Buying online is cheaper, but then I dont think you get a warrente. Like Goodguys gives you a warrentie and they will also install it free if you bought it from them, which saves. Personally I install my subs and amp and everything, its really easy to do if you look into it.
-Hopes this helps

Firewurm, I would get a different amp. and make sure and get at least 1/0 wire...
I have never heard a w0, but it all depends on what you are looking for...
As for the components. From what I hear they are killer. Call the guys over at www.reaudio.com and ask about the RE components. Think they are just a tad bit cheaper.

i'd get a different sub, and the amp is alright, coustic makes good amps, i'd stay away from their subs though. you could probly do better for the money on the amp though.
