Well i am almost at the point of finally getting the car running again after working on building up the tranny and saving up, waiting on parts and machining services, finding time to install parts. Anyways, i thought i'd share some pictures of what the new set up looks like.

Was it hard to mount the DSM intercoolers there? You should get that thing finished up and to the dynanometer!

well, victor brant, one of the most well-known guys in the DSM club, his name is on forced performanc's sleeper 16 turbo, also at one time had the world's fastest non-nitrous galant vr-4 helped me out with it. What i did was took him the DSM sidemounts and my stock sidemounts, he cut the piping off the stock sidemounts and welded them on the dsm sidemounts. The driver side intercooler was a direct fit, the passenger side intercooler had a bit of work to do to get it to work. After he had finished, i took them back, measured where the brackets should go, took it back to him, he welded brackets on, i got them back, repainted them aluminum, and they looked like brand new bolt on intercoolers. Of course, unlike stock intercoolers, you have to remove the bumper to put the DSM intercoolers on. If you can find a good place to do the work for you, unless you can do it yourself, its not a bad upgrade. I believe the total cost of both intercoolers and the labor to get them to work was right around $325, and these are the biggest sidemounts you can get for the car.
