Hello and greetings to all!
I've just recently registered to Automotive forums when I had troubles with a '95 Sunfire. The alternator finally went on it and I installed the new one in a few days ago. The problem I have now is that I have the lovely LOC message along with the InOP message. I searched the other posts here to find out how I could solve this without going to a dealer, but I think I've goofed up on entering the code. I got the code from my Dad when he first had this problem a couple of years ago, but it didn't work and now Ive got the InOP message. What is the procedure for entering the code? I figured out to use the HR and MIN buttons for the numbers, but what gets pressed next? Will I have to disconnect the battery again or will waiting ( with the radio on) for the hour work?
I'd really appreciate any insights any of you have to offer.
