Help!!

I have a 99 z-71. the past few weeks i have noticed a clicking sound towards the rear of my truck. it does not do it all the time. it mostly happens when it sits for a few hours. it does it at all speeds. i have changed the u-joints and took apart the rear brakes thinking that was it, but it still does it. my truck has 95k on it. can anyone help?
