ZC code 1

Hey, just got done replacing the water pump o-ring because it was leaking bad, and I replaced the thermostat a couple days ago. Now after like 5-10 minutes of driving normal the check engine light comes one and I get 1 flash between a 2-3 pause on the ecu.

I believe this is a code 1 - oxygen content, and I'm wondering if this problem is related to the work stated above or if its a new problem. The exhaust sounds more raspy now and its drips some black crap from the exhaust tip after I drive it.

Anyone know what my problem is.

Yea it's probably your O2 sensor. Mine was almost doing the same thing except without the drip and i replaced it and it ended up being ok.

ya I was thinkin the same thing being I just had a cooling / antifreeze problem, and i heard antifreeze can kill your 02. My o2 sensor is seconday down pipe on the DC header (right below the thermostat) so maybe some dripped down on it. :rolleyes: keep dropping more money into this ZC for stupid mistakes.
