Need Some Help.....

I have a 2003 C-230 Kompressor. I have put in the K&N air filter. I want to know if there is a way to turn up the boost in the supercharger because I know it is not at its potential or even close. If there is a way will it hurt the engine? Any recomendations on what I should do? (Im not looking to have a super fast car I just want it to have a little more noticable pep to it.) :sunglasse

to bump up boost you need new pulley and maybe belt. the biggest problem would be detonation, but if you have enough fuel it wouldnt be a problem unless the boost is just shit high and the engine cant handle all the power.

the problem with the C230 is that you can't change the size of the SC pulley, you have to use a larger crank pulley to make everything spin faster. Renntech and ASP make pulley systems, the Renntech costs $1195 and will get you 10 hp according to their website, for $500 more you can get a custom ECU tuned to run with the more boost and get another 10 hp.

I really do not know much about engines. I do not have the $ right now to spend $1100. Is there any little things I can do? I saw a Chip in performanceproducts.com. It is $400. Plus I am trying not to void the warrenty on my car because the warrenty kicks @$$. Everything is covered.
